Hi again out there! I know it's been a while since my last post (and if I'm being honest, I'm not sure if you'll be able to see this one after I write it it up.. We've been having some technical difficulties here at fishfarfromhome as of late). I've been doing alright in the meantime, a lot of things have been changing, but I'm excited!

The leaves are finally starting to turn color, and I really should be getting out to enjoy the weather before it starts getting too cold to toddle around without an extra jacket. I went to a farm nearby recently and I saw not one, but two cats!! One was an older tuxedo who was scruffy and loved pets, and the other was white with black spots, he looked like a little phantom of the opera... I'll have to go back and see if I can meet more kitties :3

I forget if I've mentioned already, but I got myself my first instant film camera back in August. I've had a lot of fun taking photos with it, but people were right about the film itself.. I get so worried about using up my limited supply that I don't use it as often as I'd like (and instant film isn't the most cost effective for day to day photography anyway)... It's great to whip out for special occasions like holidays and birthdays though! And since I was running low, I went out and grabbed some more film for the future, apparently the stuff lasts a while so long as you keep it in a cool, dry place.

Part of the reason I wanted to finally go for a camera was Yokohama Shopping Log... Just walking about and taking photos of whatever you see sounds like a fun way to appreciate the things around you (And if I thought about it for more than two seconds, stuff like instant film is not well-adapted for something like this! Heck, Alpha's camera is probably something more like a digital camera!) There's film, too (and even cheaper starter cameras that use film), but buying rolls *and* getting them developed can prove to be expensive too.. The future is now and it's digital cameras...

I also got to go on my first birdwatching trip ever recently! We saw a bunch of cool birds, and even when there weren't any around, it was an easy walk with lots of beautiful scenery. Everyone was super nice too, and even when someone would find a cool bug, everyone would group around and look at it together :)
